Hi everyone who reads this: After receiving my Wills High School ring; my Dad retired from the Air Force and we moved the summer of 1971 prior to my Senior year to Silsbee, TX. Dad got a job with the Postal Service. I was in the band and played the flute. Marla Miesel and I were the best of friends and she lived down the street from me. Trying to reconnect with her also. After moving to Texas, Jeff and I married in 1975 with a year left of college at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. We left Silsbee and moved to Belton, TX where he was Business Manager for Belton ISD. I lost my Jeff after 29 yrs. of marriage in 2004 to a malignant brain tumor. It was a bleak and dark 10 mths. but God led me through it all and was right by my side. He gave me strength when I thought I could not go on. I was 49 when Jeff died and he was 56. He went home to be with our Lord on March 18, 2004. I have one daughter, Jennifer and her husband is stationed at Ft. Benning. I have a 5 yr. old granddaughter, Londyn and a grandson Logan 5 mths. as of Feb. 21. I taught in TX for 33 yrs. with elementary school children, worked with Dyslexic children and Special Ed. students. I remarried in May 2009 to JW (Jimmy Wayne) Wigington retired Army military.
